SSU 43rd annual conference held

Suhoi Students’ Union (SSU) 43rd annual conference is underway from December 28 to 30 under the theme “the ability to utilize knowledge”. Joint Commissioner Taxes (Intl & CI) Ahmedabad Gujarat, G. Hukugha Sema IRS graced the inaugural session as chief guest on Monday morning.
Addressing the students, chief guest said many have heard how to be successful and live a life of purpose and fulfillment but “we” do not want to make change towards attaining “our” goals, hence, failing ultimately.
He said as students there was no other option except hard-work and once students achieved success, then they have lots of options in life. He reminded the students that they should realize that their life, environment and studies have been paid for and there was a price-tag attached to each of them.
Hukugha asserted that students have to make use of the assets in them which have been built up by their parents, church, village and society instead of being a liability.
Stating that one could achieve greatness in life with determination, focus and will-power he urged them to realize their responsibility and focus on achieving their goals.
He also encouraged the students to strife as one, learn and change together and inspire each other for betterment of oneself, family and the society at large, instead on encouraging and inspiring in bad deeds and actions.
Khehovi Kiho exhorted the students in the afternoon session on Monday.
Lecturer Servanthood Bible College, Atozheli S. Awomi would address the congregation as speaker on December 30.
Inaugural session was chaired by former president Agholi Kiho. Mission promoter WSBAK, Rev. Nikheto Kiho said the invocation. GB Vihoshe Yeptho delivered welcome address. Salomi Aye, finalist of Kids for Fame Season 5 presented special song.
Advisor to the union, Sukhapu Kiho proposed the vote of thanks while ex women pastor, Kughali Kiho pronounced the benediction.
