LBCD youth department organizes ‘Carnival’

Youth department of Lotha Baptist Church Dimapur, has organized a two day ‘Carnival’ starting from December 28 at the church premises, Monday to raise funds for church building.
The carnival was focused at providing a healthy atmosphere for the youths by creating avenues for both recreation and talent grooming.
Various activities including photography, musical play, talent hunt, minute to win it, literary competition, x-factor and carnival games were underway.
Executives of the youth department disclosed that there will be photography competition where a panel of judges will choose from a wide array of photos taken during the carnival by the participating photographers.
One special attraction of the carnival was the talent hunt where anyone can participate by singing, dancing or playing a musical piece from any musical instrument.
Day two of the carnival will begin at 3 p.m. with the carnival games after which the talent hunt will begin at 5 p.m.
Prize distribution for all the competition will commence after the talent show, said the organizers.
The carnival is open to all and the organizers have invited youth from in and around Dimapur to participate and also have a good time of fellowship.
