All District Rural Developing Agencies (DRDAs) have been asked to take corrective measures so that state can come at par with others in implementing developmental works.
This was stated by secretary RD, Kelei Zeliang while addressing the performance review meet of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) at Rural Development Directorate Conference Hall, Friday.
He also urged the DRDAs to ensure that they check the reports frequently by updating the Management Information System (MIS) regularly.
Secretary also stressed on the need for creation of more assets and VSAT connectivity at block level.
Director RD, Metsubo Jamir, while lamenting that incomplete works was creating severe problems, has urged upon all project directors to play pro active role by conducting frequent field visits, so that projects those implemented completed on time.
Senior analysts, NIC, Swedesenuo Natso briefed the members of the meeting on the Online Reporting System, labor budget projection and also gave a power point presentation on MIS related issues.
At the end of the meet, an interactive session on mobile monitoring system, organization of Rozdar Diwas, person days generation and convergent planning process for 2016-17 was conducted.
Deliberation on agendas including public works relating to natural resources management, constructions of IHHLs, expenditure on works related to agriculture AMD allied activities and construction of Angawadi Centers in convergence with ICDS and other relevant programmes were taken up at meeting.
Senior officials of RD department, project directors from all districts, BDOs, DEOs and computer assistants attended the meet.
