NBHM Phek showcases honey on Republic Day

Nagaland Beekeeping & Honey Mission (NBHM) also participated in the 67th Republic Day celebration in Phek district by setting up a stall showcasing the different types of honey and beekeeping equipment.
The progressive beekeepers from Khutsami village also participated with their honey product under the brand name “Khutsami Honey”. Chairman of NBHM, Phusazo Lurou also displayed his honey under the brand name of “Zanubu Honey”.
Since the inception of Nagaland Beekeeping & Honey Mission in the year 2007 by the government of Nagaland, Phek district has become the second highest producer of honey at present producing 70 Mt annually.
