NPPC ‘Mass Contact tour’ reaches Mon, Aboi, Longleng

NPCC members on mass contact tour for “Change” Wednesday addressed public meetings at Mon, Aboi and Longleng Towns.
According to NPCC media cell during the tour, NPCC president K. Therie questioned the people as to what good the NPF Government has done for them to give NPF the right to seek the people’s votes.
He said that, today, Nagas are struggling politically, economically and socially and that “our” own identity and religion was in danger and has come to a point that “we” cannot believe ourselves anymore.
Therie said Nagas have lost all sense of Christianity and civility which has led “us” to elect leaders who cannot deliver the goods to the people.
Stating that NPCC was “pained” to see the state of “our” people compared to the living standards of other people, he said NPCC came up with “Change” so that the party would communicate with the people.
Highlighting at length on the benefits of various schemes under department of Civil Supplies, MGNREGA and Medical Insurance, “which are all manipulated”, Therie said “given opportunity, we will deliver the goods to the public”.
NPCC president also claimed that Congress would form the next Central Government saying “after BJP came to power, they have lost all the state, local and municipal elections because of their intolerance.”
Others who addressed the meetings were NPCC member Lanpha Konyak Member, NPCC secretary Athang Chongloi.
