Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Zunheboto block on January 21 visited piggery farm school at Amiphoto Colony Zunheboto town and also demonstration on vermi compost at DSCO office Zunheboto.
During the team visit to piggery farm school at Amiphoto Colony, BTM Zunheboto block Chubatsur Jamir highlighted on the activities of ATMA.
BTT convenor & SO, soil Vishito Assumi interacted with the 18 participants on the farm school and briefed them on the proper management of the farm school. Assumi also highlighted on the possible help that could be availed through ATMA.
In the programme, Bahadur Rai was appointed as the farm school teacher.
In a separate programme, ATMA Zunheboto block also conducted a demonstration on vermi compost at DSCO office Zunheboto with BTT convenor & SO, soil Vishito Assumi as the resource person.
During the demonstration, the resource person dwelt on the procedures of vermi composting, its dosage, application and its importance for the crops.
