Nagaland Orphanage Bible camp held

Three-day Nagaland Orphanage Bible Camp organised by River of Soul Saving Ministry was held from January 22 to 24 at Koinonia Prayer Centre under the theme “Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.” (Psalms 27:10).
The speakers of the camp were Koinonia Baptist Church Kohima senior Pastor Rev. Zotuo Kiewhuo, Naga Shisha Hoho Kohima Pastor Vezokho, Christian Revival Church, Pezielietsie Kohima Pastor Letuolie Pienyii and Christian Revival Church, Keviphe Pastor Khriesavituo Belho.
Topics covered at the camp included “faith and prayer,” “repentance and salvation,” “sin,” “baptism of the holy spirit,” “temptation and deliverance,” and “gifts and fruits of the holy spirit.”
Talking to media persons after the camp, Rev. Zotuo Kiewhuo said that after attending the camp, the orphans now believe that they are not alone and have  strong conviction that God is their father.
“From this very camp they came to know that their future is bright and they are not different with other children,” Rev. Kiewhuo said.
He said during the camp the confidence of the children was built up and now that are certain that they could compete with any other children.
Further, Rev. Kiewhuo appealed all to come forward and support such Bible camp organised for the orphans. “Let us join our heart together and give chance to them so that they can be somebody in future and let them feel that they are equal with other children,” he added.
Razou Angami, founder-cum- chairman of River of Soul Saving Ministry said that 113 orphans from Kohima, Peren, Dimapur, Ghaspani, Phek including Mao gate of Manipur state attended the camp.
He informed that henceforth the orphanage Bible camp will now be held once in every two years. Razou said the objective of the Bible camp was to bring them closer to God and have fellowship.
The organiser also informed that the Ministry will also conduct similar camps for the disabled.
During the camp, praise and worship was led by Hope Ministry wgile Neisapi Ltu and Menuosielie Usou acted as camp director and secretary respectively.
