USSC 68th session concludes

Three-day United Sangtam Students’ Conference (USSC) 68th session was held under the “reinventing ingenuity leadership” from January 20-22 at Alisopur village with executive secretary USBLA Yangli, Rev. C. Lima as the speaker. 
In the inaugural session, state mission director RMSA, Thajao Vihienuo while speaking as the chief guest exhorted the students saying “instead of being like ships without direction, build a dream for better society”. 
In the second day, USSC flag was unfurled by minister for Power, C. Kipili Sangtam who stressed on food economy, quality leadership and role of students. 
During the workshop on “entrepreneurship”, resource person was ITI Mon, principal Er. Alongse; review of the 67th standing committee meeting minutes and new resolutions were adopted during the general meeting on the third day. 
Valedictory function was graced by deputy development commissioner, planning and coordination, Opangtula Sangtam, who spoke on women responsibilities and equality in the society. She also enlightened students in the realm of excellence. 
During the session, Thrikyuse Sangtam of Alisopur village was made the USSC president for the tenure 2016-1. The session was attended by many bureaucrats, thousand of students’ and intellectuals from different professions
