Five boys from Zunheboto, who were trained and sponsored by 5 Assam Rifles qualified in the Indian army recruitment rally held in Kohima on November 5, 2015. Altogether 25 candidates appeared for written test out of which five boys from Zunheboto district qualified. These boys will be reporting to Indian Army Recruitment Office Rangapahar Dimapur on March 15. The candidates were accorded a warm felicitation ceremony hosted by the Commandant Col’ Sachit Suri and subedar major DR Gurung 5 Assam Rifles where they were motivated for their further training.
