KYSK platinum jubilee celebration culminates

Two-day Khamima Youth Society Kigwema (KYSK) platinum jubilee celebration held under the theme “we khe” culminated, Friday at Khamima Zakie Kigwema.
Speaking as the chief guest on the second day, minister for forest environment, wild life and climate change, Dr. Neikiesalie (Nicky) Kire urged youth to opt for skill development and also seek the advice while choosing their career.
He asked youth to select a particular discipline that interest them and excel in that field. Dr. Nicky also encouraged them to be disciplined, dedicated, determined and devoted so as to achieve their set goals.
Extending jubilee greetings, Dr. Nicky said KYSK was celebrating 75 years because of the visionary pioneers and added that jubilee was the time when one should pay back to the society.
Urging the gathering contribute to the society, the minister said such contributions would go a long way in brining positive changes in the society. The chief guest also released the platinum jubilee memento.
Vikho-o Yhoshü MLA, who was the chief host, said jubilee was a time to celebrate, to recall and reflect upon the faithfulness of God with gratitude and praise.
He reminded the gathering of the “great responsibility” in moving forward with creative visions, to be bold and positive in making changes, to bring about growth and progress in people’s live.  
The chief patron for the jubilee was principal secretary forest, environment and climate change, Neitsalie Zhasa, IFS.
Presidential address was delivered by president KYS, Khriesavizo Kere while jubilee greeting was delivered by former village council chairman, Zapu-o Zhasa.
The gathering was enthralled through special number by Visato Yhoshü, Avizono Yhoshü and Lavino Zhasa, Diechü Kere and Siezo Kere and Neikeso Yhoshü. Invocation was pronounced by Pastor, Lalhou Bei-o while prayer for jubilee feast was said by ex assistant Pastor KBC, Viya Yhoshü ans vote of thanks was delivered by GB, Siekedo. The programme was chaired by convener organizing committee, Diethosielie Zhasa.
