St. Joseph Church inaugurated at Songlhuh

Newly built St. Joseph Church, Songlhuh was blessed by Bishop of Kohima Most Rev. Dr. James Thoppil and inaugurated by EAC, Ahthibung, Lithrila Sangtam, on Thursday, in the presence of village GBs, chairman, community representative from Jalukie, Kohima, and Dimapur.
The monolith was unveiled by vice principal, St. Joseph Rev. Fr. Sunny Joseph.
Bishop congratulated Frs. Anthonysamy, John Vipral, Jose Sebastian and George Punnolil for their cooperation during the construction.  
He said the dedication of the newly constructed church was a blessing and urged the people to attend church services to worship and receive the blessing. 
Bishop also urged the community to build true and genuine Church within ourselves so that God would dwell every moment.
Earlier, L. William accorded the words of welcome during the felicitation program. Bishop James, Fr. Anthonysamy, and the GB, Songlhuh gave short speeches.
