Assam Rifles organise medical camps

As part of its military civic action, 23 Assam Rifles and 33 Assam Rifles organized a medical camp at Ukha village, Mon district on January 15 and at Phomching, Mon district on January 12 under “OP Sadbhavna” as part of military civic action respectively.
AR in a release stated, a total of 367 patients were treated by the team and free medicines were distributed at Ukha village while a total of 480 patients were treated by the team and free medicines were distributed at Phomching, Mon district.
AR stated the common ailments prevalent in both the areas were backache, abdominal / gastro cases, upper respiratory infections, common cold and fever.
The local populace and civil administration expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the medical camp at their doorstep and appreciated initiative of the Assam Rifles.
