Ao Senso Telongjem Padumpukhuri (ASTP) village Dimapur has vehemently condemned the dastardly coward act and murder attempt by four unidentified masked gunman at the private residence of Er. Sungti Amer on January 18 evening. ASTP president A. Mayang Imchen and secretary Sanen Pongen said that the miscreants jumped over the fence and started “manhandling the helper with malicious intent”.
They also warned that they would return, ASTP added. However, by God’s grace the owner, a member and bonafide citizen of Padumpukhuri village, and his family were not present at the time of the incident, ASTP said.
Such said shameful act of cowardice and criminal intent needed to be condemned by all right thinking citizens.
They further appealed to the concern authority to investigate the matter, nab the culprits and award befitting punishment at the earliest.
