SNUNS orientation prog for students

An orientation programme for South Naga Students, who had passed Class X & XII NBSE examination 2018,was organized by South Naga Union of Nagaland State (SNUNS) at AIDA Hall here on May 22. 
The event was held on the topic: “Choices of subjects leading to career options”. 
After an introduction to the programme by SNUNS president, Joe Ngamkhuchung, Rev. Fr. Justine MMI of St. Joseph’s  University  gave a detailed presentation on the subject; “ Choices of subjects leading to career options”. 
He began with the principles of goal setting and dream building and followed up with presentation of the good courses to do after class 12 (Arts). During the interactive session students raised many questions. 
In the second session, Heni Ahrai, Oath Commissioner, Senapati GoM, shared his experiences and also encouraged the students.
At the felicitation session, Dr. R. Francis, Principal St. Stephen’s Hr.Sec. School, Dimapur exhorted the students and gave away SNUNS merit certificates with cash incentives for the students with 80 % and above in individual subjects.  
Esther Chakhre (Mao) from Mezhur Hr.Sec, School, Kohima, who secured 6th position in the Arts stream in HSSLC 2018 was also felicitated.
