ARSU conference concludes

Four-day long Akuluto Range Students’ Union (ARSU) 25th general conference held at Lumami concluded on January 17. The conference was attended by more than 450 students from nine units. On cultural day, the event was graced by 1st class contractor, Kazheto Kinnimi who was also one of the founders of ARSU in 1981. The sports day was graced by president SKK, Ninoto Awomi.
Kinnimi in his speech lauded the ARSU for giving importance to one’s culture and identity. He also said that the hard work that “we” have sow since the last 20-30 years would bear good fruit for 80-90 years. Kinnimi also donated cash to the union and all the other units. Meanwhile, president SKK asked the students never to choose shortcuts to career as one would never be successful in the long run.  The 25th tenure of ARSU executives ended on January 17 and Atohoto Zhimo was elected as the new president for the tenure 2016-2018.
