PSC flays ‘abandoned constructions’

Expressing unhappiness over some department office constructions in Longleng, which have been abandoned before completion, Phom Students Conference (PSC) has appealed the concerned authority and contractor to do the needful at the earliest.
A press release by PSC vice president, Chingnyei Phom and general secretary, Lungchem Phom stated that on paying visit to the construction site, PSC was shocked to find that the sub-jail, DEO and SDEO offices have been “abandoned and paralyzed for many years.” PSC then questioned as to why and how the constructions were stopped and abandoned without completion?  It stated that Longleng district was without a sub-jail and a proper office for the DEO/SDEO and appealed the concerned authority or contractor to complete the buildings at the earliest. Failure to do so, Phom Students Conference said it would be entailed to take action for which it would not be held responsible.  Phom Students Conference also reminded all the HoDs and staffs in Longleng district to be at the place of posting as most of the offices are running either without the concerned officers or office kept open with no staff present.
