AR nabs 2 with explosives, ammunition and drugs

Wokha battalion of Assam Rifles along with a police representative conducted an operation on May 25 in Longsachung Wokha district and apprehended two persons with ammunition, explosives and contraband.
A press release issued by Assam Rifles stated that two persons identified as Nyanbemo (42) son of late Ratsemo of Longsachung village, Wokha and Hanjilo (40) son of Khulo of Nsunyu, Tseminyu, Kohima district were nabbed in this connection.  According to Assam Rifles, four hand grenades, eight live cartridges of 12 Bore, 759 Samprax capsules, 150 Nytrosun tablets, Rs. 55, 255, eight mobile phones, assorted liquor and other items were recovered from their possession. The individuals along with the recovered items were handed over to Wokha Police Station and an FIR was  lodged against them.
