SPMP& Co. dept visits district offices

To have better co-ordination State Planning Machinery of Planning & Co-ordination Department (SPMP& Co. Dept) visited district offices of the department and Tuensang and Longleng on April 30, with a team led by additional development commissioner. 
In continuation, the team visited district planning office Kohima on May 23. The team led by led by addl. development commissioner Nozasol Charles comprised of one deputy development commissioner, Ketoho Luho and five assistant development commissioners together with SDO of the department. 
During the visit a meeting was held with the officers and staff of district planning machinery Kohima which was chaired by District Planning Officer, Kohima (DPO) Henswading, who also gave a power point presentation highlighting the activities of the district office. 
In a press release, Deputy Development Commissioner Ketoho Luho stated that the proposed of the visit was to have better coordination between the district offices with the headquarters.
Addressing the officers and staff the Addl. Development Commissioner pointed out that, as a government servant there were certain rules and regulation that was bounded to be followed and the officers and staff at the district level should be sincere and diligent in their respective assignment. 
He further pointed out that, Dimapur and Kohima deputy commissioners were the nodal officers for implementation of the MPLADS wherein the DPO is directly involve with the projects. 
Further, it mentioned that state government calendar of action plan for implementation of LADP and other programmes was brought out with the approval of state planning board and asked the DPO Kohima to follow the calendar of action while submitting the proposals for the LADP. 
He also asked the officers and staff to be punctual and hard working as they were the mirror of the department in the districts and they were expected to be diligent and dedicated to the assignment given to them. 
Further, he pointed out that assets already created in the district should be kept safe and taken care off. 
Later, vote of thanks was said by DPO Kohima.
