ATMA inaugurates integrated farm school

Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) inaugurated an ‘Integrated Farm School’ at Zhuikhu village on May 25.
Speaking at the inaugural program, Block Technology Manager (BTM) convenor of Jharnapani ACTO, KVK (ICAR) Z James Kikon highlighted on the various aspects of integrated farming system for sustainable agriculture and conducted a training on “Nutrient Management of Rice.” 
Medziphema Block BTM, Chubanaro Jamir also explained the concept of farm school to the farmers present at the inauguration programme. 
Nivikhe was appointed as farm teacher on the occasion and a field visit was carried out where various discussions were held and queries were addressed. Altogether, 17 farmers attended the programme. Dhaincha and maize seeds, tools, and vemi bed were distributed to the farmers who attended the programme.
