As part of the PDA’s 100 day programme, director of Industries & Commerce (I&C), I. Bendangliba launched an Aadhaar based Biometric Attendance System (BAS) on May 29 at the Directorate of Industries & Commerce, Kohima in the presence of Department of Information Technology & Communication (IT&C) officials led by joint director, Sabou Yashu.
According to DIPR, this is the first Aadhaar based BAS launched by a department under the PDA’s 100 day plans and targets.
