NSA appeals to NNPGs

The Naga Scholars’ Association (NSA) has appealed to Naga nationalist groups to create a congenial atmosphere as they try to achieve a negotiated political settlement.
An appeal letter from NSA president, Dr. Zuchamo Yanthan and general secretary, Dr. Lungthuiyang Riamei, urged the Naga nationalist groups to shun violence and strive for a peaceful environment and co-existence. It expressed concern over the clash between the Naga nationalist groups on May 31 between Namsang and Sipini villages in Arunachal Pardesh.
NSA said that the incident was in opposition to the spirit of the on-going peace process and the Nagas’ call for an honourable solution, adding that such incidents could jeopardize the possibility of achieving the common cherished goal.
