Minister of state (independent charge) for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) Dr. Jitendra Singh on Wednesday said establishing connectivity with the neighbouring countries and within Northeast Region, and development of other infrastructure were integral part of Act East Policy.
According to a PIB release, Dr. Singh said until the connectivity with the neighbouring countries and infrastructure within north east region (road, rail, inland water transport, telecom, airports, power, etc.) were fully established the micro and macro benefit of the policy cannot be assessed.
DoNER Minister said this in Lok Sabha in a written reply to a question by Ajay Misra Teni and Ninong Ering.
