Pre-christmas cum grandparents’ day by RDNUMS

With banners carrying beautiful thoughts and the stage filled with rich flowers, Rev. Dr. Neiliezhü Üsou Memorial School (RDNUMS) on December 5, exhibited show during the observance of its 4th pre-Christmas cum grandparents’ day at the Heritage, Kohima. Speaking on the topic, “Soaring above and beyond”, Akobu Üsou expressed late Rev. Dr. Neiliezh¬¬ü Üsou good works, love for God and that people continued to soar above and beyond, inspiring, guiding and strengthening every single day of their lives.
 She noted “to have the innocence and purity of the children at RDNUMS reflecting the good life of our late father is the biggest treasure that we can inherit.” “It is our hope and prayer that we may love as he did, live as he lived and be the example that he was”, she added. The event emphasized on grandparents highlighting that they are the example of the kind of people we should be. The occasion was marked by impressive performances by the Children of RDNUMS as well as Ameü Üsou Zao, Choir accompanied by Neikhrieo Üsou, James Basnet & Band and Üsou’s Instrumental apart from others.  Earlier, greetings and prayer was said by principal of Chandmari Higher Secondary School Asenla Temsu while Azi Tetseo Nienu spoke on behalf of the parents. 
Tribute was paid to the grandparents of the RDNUMS children in the form of special gifts. The event further highlighted Nativity play, titled, “The manger held it all” arranged by Aleü Üsou.
