ZPO condemns assault on advisor

Zeliang People’s Organisation (ZPO) has alleged that its advisor Kengim Kulimbe, was allegedly physically “accosted” by some persons on April 27 at his residence at Jalukie Town. 
In a condemnation note, ZPO media cell claimed that some persons barged into Kulimbe’s residence and physically accosted him. ZPO said that it was unfortunate that such “horrendous scheming have been encouraged and rowdily perpetrated” by one village community against a peace loving citizen. Asserting that the scale of seriousness of such offence have never been left unpunished, ZPO warned that failing to ensure befitting punishment upon the offenders according to the law of the land at the earliest; the competent law and order enforcing agencies under Jalukie Sub-division of Peren district shall be solely held responsible should even a “mayhem follow suit”.
