SUD seeks govt’s help

Sangtam Union Dimapur (SUD) has sought the intervention of Nagaland government to urge the concern authority to intensify the search operation of Y.C. Thrilongkyu, sub-inspector of 38th BN SSB Tawang, who went missing since April 24 near Indo-China border (Arunachal Pradesh). In a press note, SUD president Er. Hotongkyu Sangtam and general secretary Athrise P, said as per reports, Thrilongkyu drowned in a river while on duty. However, SUD said the search and rescue operation failed to yield any positive results. SUD, on behalf of the bereaved family members, has therefore appealed to the state government to make necessary arrangements to further intensify the search operations in recovering body.
