Aspiration Online Educational Services(AOES), an innovative and well designed test series, was officially launched Friday evening by Editor, Nagaland Post Geoffery Yaden at Hotel Lake Shilloi.
Addressing educationists and head of institutions at the launching ceremony, the guest of honour Geoffery Yaden described the day as a red letter day and hoped that the launching of the software would immensely benefit students appearing for medical and engineering competitive examinations. He said youth today were adept at embracing technology, likening it to duck taking to water, and expressed confidence that the AOES would become a popular mode of preparing for competitive examinations.
He further expressed hope that it will bring about a change among young people in using technology for fruitful purposes. While calling the day as a new beginning for the young people of Nagaland, Geoffery Yaden also called upon the members of Aspiration Online Educational Services not to take the venture as a business but an opportunity to serve the people, especially the weaker sections as a duty of serving God.
Also giving a brief introduction of the programme, CEO Aspiration Online Dr. Islin Basker said their mission was to encourage, support and promote online teaching and training.
He said it also aims to enhance students by aspiring for professional courses and to mould them with confidence building and competency promotion.
Earlier, invocation was given by Rev. Dr. T N Lotha, president, Eastern Bible College while the welcome address was delivered by Thomas Kunnel Mathew, chief executive promoter-India and benediction by Pastor Tan Chin Lee from Singapore.
