District Election Officer (DEO) Peren, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) H. Sunep Phom held a consultative meeting with booth committee mandal on October 1 at Peren for the forthcoming state BJP organizational election 2015.
Addressing the booth committee mandal members, DEO explained the details and procedures for BJP organizational election and urged the members to work sincerely and to choose the right person in the greater interest of the party in the state.
In the meeting, Mandal Returning Officer (MRO) was also elected as per the directive of BJP Nagaland State Election Officer (SEO) and parliamentary secretary for Labour and Employment, Skill Development and Border Affairs Mmhonlumo Kikon.
DEO informed that selection or election process would be done strictly as per the constitution of the party. He also asked all the mandals to submit primary and active membership list at the earliest.
