NNC says it ‘never tax business community’

NNC under Z. Royim Yimchungrü and V. Nagi categorically stated that it stand was clear that the “Naga National Council (parent body) never tax business community as well as the Naga people.” NNC in this regard clarified and appealed to all to understand their stand and “never to include the parent body as all or various NPGs.”
It said “NNC never know shop registration fee, trade license, yearly taxation, information slips containing monetary demand etc. and also never harass or intimidate anybody in this matter of serious concerned.”
To clear the air, NNC has asked the business community, individuals or concerned body to name the particular group(s) responsible for taxation against the will of the people without any hesitation. 
NNC said it rather extends its blessing to the business community to prosper in their efforts for the welfare of the people with honesty, sincerity and proper rate in the interest of the people. 
It however warned of duplicity, cheating and exorbitant price/rate against the welfare and will of the people’s interest in their business.
