Kohima District Youth Congress (KDYC) has expressed gratitude NPCC president K. Therie for keeping his assurance on September 10 when 18 members including 6 ACCC presidents met him at Congress Bhavan.
In a press note, KDYC president Seyie Sachu stated that the Therie had explained to them the decision of AICC, executive committee resolution and notification of NPCC.
The 6 ACCC presidents admitted that they were not aware of the decision and resolution, Sachu said.
Without prior consent of their executive committee, Sachu said they signed and submitted the letter, which was also sent to AICC and press.
KDYC said though they have demanded revocation of suspension order on September 24, “the question of revocation does not arise, since they were not suspended but the restraining order was set aside on 28/09/15 by NPCC president.”
In this regard, Kohima Youth Congress said it appreciated the timely decision of the NPCC president and re-posed full faith and hope for brighter days ahead under his able and dynamic leadership.
