NH agree to strengthen Naga peace process

Naga Hoho (NH) presidential council meeting, after a thorough deliberation on the signing of August 3, 2015 framework agreement between the Government of India and the NSCN (I-M), strongly recommended that in the best interest of the Nagas, the peace process and the negotiations have to be strengthened in order to realise “our goals and aspirations.” In a press release, communication cell, Naga Hoho said the meeting was held on September 30, 2015at Hotel Japfu in Kohima, attended by more than 20 tribe presidents along with its executives. The hoho mentioned that all the presidents of various tribe Hohos “participated with enthusiasm and feelings of their respective communities.” The meeting also appealed to both the Government of India and the NSCN (I-M) to expedite the process towards bringing early political settlement.
