Sericulture trg under NERTPS held

Training on sericulture under NERTPS was conducted by department of sericulture at Kohima from September 22 to 24.  District sericulture officer (DSO) Mhianizoto Meyase briefed the farmers about the importance of sericulture for income generation and encouraged them to practice it in a systematic way for optimum benefits. The resource person during the training were extension officer Vilhousienuo Khro, extension officer Eyareno Chuse and seri supervisor A. Atenjemba, covering on the topics from land development for food plantation, rearing technology to economics of sericulture.
