With an aim to attract more visitors, the ‘Amur Falcon Roosting Area (Landowner’s) Union (AFRAU) Pangti conducted social work on September 25.
Volunteers numbering around 120 cleared the road and filled all the potholes starting from Amur Falcon Resting shed, Raphaphen to Roosting side, Tsutsa Eryu stretching about 2.5km.
In a press release, AFRAU said the union has decided to voluntarily erect a ‘watch tower’ for better view of the migratory bird ‘Amur falcon’.
It may be noted that before the formation of the union, many of its members were traditional hunters.
