Narco Co-ordination Centre Dimapur (NCORD) Team conducted inspections at various pharmacies in Dimapur town on May 29. The team was led by drugs control officer, T. Zubeno Kikon, and EAC Sadar, Imliwabang Aier, along with Dy. SP(P), Mankup T. Konyak, UBSI Nzabemo Kithan, and UBC Lishang Lotha. The inspection focused on ensuring compliance with regulations, including maintenance of Schedule H and H1 drug records, management of narcotics and psychotropic substances, and CCTV installation. Anomalies like non-maintenance of sale records for narcotic and psychotropic drugs were found, leading to the seizure of such drugs from defaulting pharmacies and the initiation of investigations. Drug Control Officer, Dimapur, has directed all pharmacies in Dimapur Town to obtain indent certificates for restricted drugs from the office and maintain accurate sales records of Schedule H and H1 drugs.
