Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services (AHVS) Department distributed fodder and materials for piggery shed construction to Kidima villagers under RKVY scheme which was led by Deputy Chief Veterinary Officer, Joseph M. Angami on April 24.
According to DIPR, with the inauguration of quarantine check post at Kidima (which borders Manipur) on March 27, the department of AHVS distributed fodder, piggery, materials for piggery shed construction for livestock and economic growth of the rural areas in particular.
Free distribution to the villagers, technical supervision of scientific feeding and rearing of swine and interaction with the guests were the highlights of the programme.
