IDCF launched in Phek, Wokha districts

Phek District Health Society launched Intensified Diarrhea Control Fortnight (IDCF) on July 27 at Chief Medical Office (CMO) Conference Hall, Phek by Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Phek co-chairman of the IDCF steering committee Dr K Vikato Kinimi. 
The launching programme was attended by the blocks supervisor, district nodal officer, steering committee members and officers from the allied departments. IDCF had been observed from July 27 and will continue till August 8 under the theme “Intensification efforts towards zero” childhood deaths due to diarrhoea across all states and Union Territory of India.
WOKHA: Intensified diarrhoea control fortnight (IDCF) was launched at Wokha district on July 27 at DC’s conference hall.
Deputy commissioner/chairman of the steering committee, A. Robin Lotha gave a short speech at the launching programme, wherein he encouraged the medical personnel “to carry out the programme successfully” and to further “cover the whole district including the remote areas”. 
The key note address highlighting the IDCF was delivered by DPO (RCH/UIP) Dr. Zathung.  Earlier the progamme was chaired by medical superintendent Dr. W. N. Ezung. The programme was also attended by IDCF steering committee members, CMO, Dy CMo, programme officers, staff of CMO and NRHM and president Lotha Eloe Hoho.
