MCCI questions Power deptt.

Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce and Industries (MCCI) has questioned the Power department, Mokokchung as to why there was no power supply in Mokokchung for four successive days.
In a press release, MCCI president Moasangba Jamir said that the situation has not only caused hardships to the people of the district but also incurred loses worth crores of rupees to the business community. MCCI said this “…must not tug at the heartstrings of the respected officers of the department stationed here or are they even here at the place of their posting?” 
In this regard, MCCI demanded that the department explain in the form of public information on why there was no power supply in Mokokchung and how long people were to bear the brunt.
