The pseudo-secularism practiced by successive state and Union governments is the root cause of the problems being faced by northeastern states, said Nagaland governor P.B Acharya. Speaking to reporters, Acharya said people from the northeast are friendly, but wrong moves by political parties resulted in their alienation. Stating that insurgency is the biggest worry in these states, Acharya said that India’s hot pursuit of gunning down insurgents inside Myanmar has sent the right signal to the terrorists. Acharya was here on a personal visit. He visited Katyayani temple in Aversa, about 20km from here.
