Deputy Commissioner Peren, Peter Lichamo inaugurated Peren Town Women Welfare Organization (PTWWO) hall Saturday at new headquarter Peren.
Speaking on the occasion, he congratulated the PTWWO for constructing such building for the welfare of the people and the women organization for being one of the most active and united organization in Peren town. He said that women can act as a pressure group in society especially for the social change like construction and usage of toilet under Swachh Bharat programme.
The programme was chaired by PTWWO vice president, Makeyitei while invocation was said by Reverend Izieteilung ES ZBCC and welcome address was delivered by Apeuna Iheilung advisor PTWWO. A special song was presented by Bana Colony and vote of thanks was delivered by PTWWO general secretary Itingau.
