One day seminar on “care for creation” was organized by Indisen Baptist Arogo (IBA) Dimapur, youth ministry, Saturday at IBA.
The resource persons for the seminar were North East India Committee on Relief and Development (NEICORD), Shillong communication officer, Butesen Ozüküm and consultant on appropriate technology, Dimapur, Toshi Sanglir.
The seminar was divided into two sessions lecture and practical, the lecture session was further divided into three sub-sessions during which resource person Ozüküm in “why care for creation?” session covered the basic information needed to understand the underlying issues of care for creation-science and its impacts.
Ozüküm in “what then?” session covered the practical steps one can take in order to participate in caring for creation and in “why should we be concerned?” dealt with the Christian response to “care for creation” and how as Christians one should actively partake in it. In the technical session, resource person Toshi Sanglir highlighted the youth about latest technology and its impact.
Earlier, the seminar began with an invocation by Indisen Baptist Arogo, Dimapur Pastor, K Temjen Ozüküm and praise and worship was led by Indisen Baptist Arogo, Dimapur youth ministry.
