SBI branch office opened at Changtongya town

State Bank of India (SBI) branch office was inaugurated at Changtongya Town by deputy commissioner (DC) Mokokchung Sushil Kumar Patel as chief guest on May 27 at town hall.
Speaking on the occasion, DC Mokokchung encouraged the people of the area to avail the benefit and the facilities provided by the Bank. 
According to a DIPR report, DC also said the present government at the Centre has come up with various Insurance and scheme that would directly benefit the A/C holder. For this, DC Mokokchung said “ADHAAR Card has become a must and important.”
Therefore, he encouraged the public to open up the accounts and also to make investment in the Bank as a culture and to co-operate with bank officials. 
DC expressed gratitude to the bank officials for putting their effort and the commitment in opening up the Bank at the earliest. The programme was chaired by CTBA youth director Imtisunep. Short speeches were also delivered by AGM Regional Business Office Mokokchung, G. Sekarand, Editor Tir Yimyim K. Temjen Jamir (The first account holder of the new SBI branch was given to him).
