With State facing educated unemployed problem, MLA Dr. Neiphrezo Keditsu encouraged students to opt for professional courses as it is job oriented.
Speaking at the inaugural of Government High School building Zhadima village and Zhadima village council and VDB office building Saturday, Dr. Neiphrezo asked the students not to be hopeful of government jobs as it has already been saturated.
Stressing on the issue of educated unemployed in the country, he lamented that India education is syllabus oriented and not career oriented and also shared the importance of career counseling for the young students.
Dr. Neiphrezo also advised the teachers to mould the students in the right way and to encourage them to be skillful and take up job oriented courses. He also lauded the villagers for using the government fund judiciously.
Also speaking in the programme, project director DRDA Kohima Kevipodi Sophie, Zhadima VDB office and council hall was one of the best buildings constructed through government fund.
He advised the villagers to choose the priority according to the need of the villagers while planning to take up and projects and also stressed on the importance of utilizing the fund provided by the government judiciously for the development of the society.
Earlier, Zhadi Basa A G Church Pastor Khriezolie said the dedicatory prayer for the government high school building and Reverend Zhadi Bawe A.G. Church Pastor Thepfusalhou said the blessing prayer for village council hall and VDB office building.
The inaugural programme was led by K.T. Vilie chairman Zhadima village council, special songs were presented by Ruokuovtuo Naga idol 2007 and GHS Zhadima, brief report on GHS building was given by Zhasalie member SMBC, brief report for council hall and VDB office building was given by Peter Kuotsu VDB secretary, vote of thanks was proposed by Kedilezo GB and benediction prayer by Pezachiilie Philip catechist St. Peter & Paul Church Zhadima.
The GHS building was constructed at the total cost of Rs. 46 lakh and funded by RMSA scheme 2013-14 and community contribution and the VDB office building and council hall at the total cost of Rs. 42 lakh from MGNREGA 2011-13.
