Reconciliation need of the hour: Azo

For peace and tranquillity to prevail, MLA Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu has said reconciliation was the need of the hour, saying Naga society needed to reconcile at all levels.
Addressing at the 6th triennial general session of Chakhesaang Mothers Association (CMA) at Phek Town Hall on May 1, Azo said Nagas should follow the example set by the two visionary leaders. 
Azo called on all mothers to be God fearing and also asked to stand bold and firm to lead the Naga society.
He also urged the mothers to come forward and address various issues and also put their best effort to create a better society. Mothers have humongous responsibility, Azo urged them to be prayerful to ensure their husband and children did not get swayed to social evils.
Heaping praises on NPF president Dr. Shürhozelie Liezetsu and chief minister T.R. Zeliang for their magnanimity towards reconciliation within the NPF party, Azo lauded their matured decision to reconcile in the spirit of forgive and forget.
He said decision to reconcile displayed maturity of their leadership and a good example to be followed by all Nagas.
Admitting that as leaders, they were all responsible for stalling the development and paralyzing the government for months, he apologized and assured that everything would be normal within a week or two through the reconciliation within the party.
Also, speaking on the occasion, Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) president Sovenyi lauded the contributions of CMA in various ways and further urged them to lead Chakhesang community in the right perspective.
He appealed to them to adopt a good strategy to strengthen the Chakhesang community.
Earlier, CMA president Zaposhelii Venuh delivered presidential address. 
The inaugural session was chaired by Kiithoselii Vasa, general secretary CMA. Niithitalii Liiruo and Vetaniilii Lasuh compered the function.
Moze Nyekha, associate pastor PTBC women department pronounced invocation prayer while Phek Village Mothers’ Association presented a folk song. Later, Phek deputy commissioner Murohu Chotso graced the valedictory function as the guest of honour.
