Kohima police seize narcotics

During a routine frisking and checking, Kohima police manning Peducha check gate intercepted one unregistered truck (tipper) bearing Chassis No. MAT449019F2C05331, Engine No. B591803251C63431590 and recovered 24,000 capsules of banned Spasmo Proxyvon at the wee hours of April 30 at around 3:30 am.
Accordingly two persons namely Md. Abdul Gani (33), son of Md. Abdul Samad of Lilong Turel Ahanbi village in Thoubal, Manipur, and Syed Islao Rahaman (33), son of Syed Basir Rahaman of Lilong Haoreibi Awang Leikai village in Thoubal, Manipur, were arrested for possession and transportation of  banned drugs. A case in this connection has been registered with the Sechü (Zubza) Police Station and further investigation was on.
