Deputy Commissioner (DC) Zunheboto Temsu Longkumer has informed all recognized political parties, supervisors, ward/village awareness group and campus ambassadors that a meeting cum training would be held on April 8 at the DC’s conference hall. All the members have been requested to attend the meeting. It also informed the ward, VAG, BAG to submit report of the meeting held at booth level. The DC & District Election Officer, Zunheboto Temsu Longkumer has informed all the recognized political parties that the Election Commission of India (ECI) has directed the political parties to appoint Booth Level Agents (BLAs). For which all the parties have been requested to appoint the same for all polling stations and submit report of appointment at the earliest.
The DC has also informed all the electors under 31 – 36 A/C under Zunheboto district that the Voters Registration and Education Centers (VREC) has been setup at Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer office at Zunheboto HQ, SDO (Civil) and AERO office Akuluto Sub-Division and SDO (Civil) and AERO office Suruhuto Sub-Division. It also informed that concerned individual may clarify any queries relating to electoral roll and NERPAP from the above mentioned centers.
On AADHAR, DC Zunheboto has informed all the co-ordination (BLOs) and members of village or ward awareness groups and booth awareness to hold a meeting in connection with AADHAR distribution and AADHAR information collection drive by BLOs and also on measures to make Electoral roll clean.
The DC also informed that meeting should convene on or before April 7 and submit report with attendance sheet with contact numbers of members and duplicate or multiple entries dictated by the VAG/BAG should be submitted along with the meeting report.
