Dream Foundation of Nagaland (DFoN) has lauded Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) for its sincere and dedicated effort in giving facelift to Dimapur town by carrying out road and drainage developmental works and dustbin construction in various part of the town.
DFoN president, Sukhai Zhimomi, has requested the public to cooperate and support DMC for development and progress of Dimapur, maintain developmental works executed by DMC, inculcate the civic sense and stop rampant dumping of garbage into drains.
He said DMC would achieve the feat of repair and inaugurate five major roads in Dimapur within three months where four had already been inaugurated while the fifth road at West Yard-Chateswari Colony which was currently under repair.
He said that along with drainage construction and slab covering of drains, DMC was also giving emphasis on clearing the main drains in and around the town to prevent the drains from clogging during rainy season.
Zhimomi mentioned that DMC had received many applications from different colonies requesting the latter to carry out more developmental works.
