CEO Nagaland informs on ‘National Electoral Roll Purification’

Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland, Sentiyanger Imchen IAS has informed that “national electoral roll purification and authentication programme” will be launched on March 3, 12 noon at the office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland. The CEO informed that the programme will be undertaken from March 1 to August 15, whole over the country, according to the directive from Election Commission of India with a view for improving the quality of electoral roll and making it 100% error free and linking with biometric data and collecting contact numbers/email addresses of electors. The CEO has requested two members each of the following organizations and political parties to attend the launching programme, all national and state political parties, DIPR, DDK/AIR and NGOs – Naga Hoho, ENPO, Youth Net, The Naga Blog (TNB).
