DC Mkg meets leaders of Chang, Yimchunger tribes

In the wake of recent unfortunate incidents that took place in Tuensang, deputy commisisoner Mokokchung Sushil Kumar Patel called a meeting of the leaders of Chang and Yimchunger tribes of Mokokchung town and had lengthy discussion in maintaining peace and tranquility among the two tribes.
The meeting was convened as pre-emptive measures to prevent inimical situation. In the meeting DC invited suggestion from both sides as to how best the district administration could help the two communities in this situation.
Leaders of the two communities appreciated the initiative of the DC and assured him to maintain peace and tranquility in Mokokchung district.
The DC was informed by the two community leaders that a special meeting between the two communities will be held soon in Mokokchung town to prevent safety and aid for those people coming from Tuensang side irrespective of their tribes.
