NPF, Dimapur Division, has applauded the initiatives of DMC under CEO, Atokhe Aye, where the roads in and around DMC jurisdiction were repaired. In a press release, NPF Dimapur president Vihoshe Awomi stated that the roads and drainage in and around DMC areas were completely neglected for a long time, though it serves as a main lifeline for all the markets of Nagaland as well as Manipur. He said with the timely intervention of the DMC, it has brought relief to all concerned. The division further extended its appreciation to the DC Dimapur for having revised the auto fare rates which was long felt necessary in the larger interest of the people who had been continuously charged “exorbitantly”. The division felt that announcements and orders should be the beginning and strongly urged upon the DC Dimapur to strictly enforce the new revised rates in the interest of the general public.
