Assistant Labour Commissioner (ALC), Kohima Ekhahu Rosse has informed all the shops and commercial establishments to get their registration certificates renewed before March 20. It has been informed that the renewal can be done at assistant labour commissioner’s office, Science College road on any working day. All newly opened shops and other establishments have also been directed to get registered within one month from the date of opening. ALC has warned that the defaulters would be penalized as per provision laid down in the Nagaland Shops and Establishment Acts 1986 while informing that registration is mandatory under section 36 (1) of the same Act.
