Organizations condemn attacks in Kohima, Dimapur

Various organizations have condemned the attacks in Dimapur on February 18 and  in Kohima on February 21.
CPO: Chakheasang Public Organisation (CPO) has vehemently condemned the dastardly attempt on “selected members and innocent lives of the public in general” in the two incidents— Feb 18 at Dr. Benjong’s residence, Dimapur and Feb 21 near Deo Nukhu and Vikeho Swu’s residence, Kohima.
In a press release, CPO vice president Neilo Khape and treasurer Vezühü said that the “savageous venture with hatred at heart endangers the very existence of trust and faith amongst the Nagas.” CPO called upon every right thinking individuals to condemn the “childish acts of perpetrators who is adorned with satanic medals”.
Meanwhile, CPO appreciated the timely intervention of Assam Rifles and Police, which brought relief and peace in the minds of its denizens. CPO further appealed investigation authority to apprehend and book the culprits and the architect behind, for befitting punishment as per law.
Pochury organizations: Pochury Hoho, Pochury Students Union, Pochury Women Organization and Pochury GB Union have expressed shocked and condemned the bomb blast near the official residence of MLAs– Deo Nukhu and Vikheho Swu, Saturday morning at Kohima. In a statement issued through Pochury Hoho president, Penthu Pochury, the organizations said the “coward, drastic and inhuman act” has no place in the Naga society and pointed out that such acts would “not solve any problem” but create fear psychosis and social unrest in the society.
Among the three vehicles damaged, a government registered Bolero belonged to Eyekowe, official personal secretary to Yitachu, parliamentary secretary School Education, they said adding, such act “ultimately tantamount to attempted murder”. The organizations appealed competent authority to book the culprit immediately and award befitting punishment as per the provisions law.
NPF central youth wing: NPF central youth wing has vehemently condemned the cowardly acts of some miscreants who fired gun shots and lobbed grenade at the residence of Dr. Benjongliba Aier, MLA and former minister, on Feb 18 wee hours at Dimapur and the bomb blast near the residence of Deo Nukhu and Vikheho Swu, parl. secretaries, Saturday.
The youth wing press bureau in a statement, termed these incidents as the “frustrated act of some anti-social elements with a motive to create fear psychosis in the mind of the people and disturb peaceful environment of the state”. 
The youth wing said it was unfortunate that some frustrated elements are “using armed miscreants to threaten and bully the elected members after they fail to convince the later with all their wrong hopes and propaganda”.
“This cowardice act of violence of some people is the seer expression of their desperation to salvage themselves from their political misadventure and not for any good cause, therefore, should be condemned in the strongest term by all right thinking citizens”, it added.
The wing has cautioned those miscreants that it would not remain a mute spectator to such anti-social activities, but would “deploy every means to counter the agents of such violence” to let the Nagas live in peace and prosper.
NPF P&MC: NPF press and media cell (P&MC) said to “vehemently condemn is too small a phrase to describe the bomb blast at the private residence of Deo Nukhu Kohima in the early hours of Feb’ 21”.  Asserting in a statement, P&MC said “this selective and serial bomb blasts occurring with deadly coincidences is quite perplexing and we have run out of words to profile the ill-motive actions of the pawn in political Chess Board of Nagaland”. 
“Can any Anti-social elements dare to execute their sinister design in broad daylight? Can any sane person master enough guts to attack his enemy in the most secure area of his domain?,” it questioned.
Appealing the law enforcing agencies to arrest the culprit at the earliest, P&MC said it “should not leave any stone unturned while taking out the bedrock of this political conspiracy”.
ZUK: Zhavame Union Kohima (ZUK) has condemned the cowardly act of anti-social elements in the form of bomb blast near the private residence of Deo Nukhu, parliamentary secretary for Higher Education and SCERT at Old Minister’s Hill on February 21.
In a press release issued by ZUK president, Tsükha Krocha and general secretary, Sarh¬ünyi Dukru said the incident damaged few vehicles that were parked on the roadside and created fear psychosis to nearby residents.
Stating that it was appalled by the act, ZUK said that under whatever motive the perpetrator’s sinister act has been executed, it was highly repulsive and intolerable.
Such dastardly act display the primitive mindset of the perpetrators and does not have a place in a civilized society, it said. ZUK strongly appealed all the right thinking citizens to condemn such act and also urged the authority to book the culprits at the earliest.
RPOK: Razeba Public Organisation Kohima (RPOK) has also expressed shock over the bomb blast triggered by some unscrupulous miscreants near the private residence of Deo Nukhu, parliamentary secretary also damaging a bolero, an esteem car and a scorpio.
In a release RPOK president, Danyi Domeh and general secretary, Darhu Shupao strongly condemned the dastardly act of intimidation on its leader and other innocent citizens residing within the vicinity of the incident. Stating that such abominable and cowardly act has no place in a civilized society and deserves condemnation by all peace loving citizens, RPOK appealed law enforcing agency to probe into the case and book the culprits at the earliest.
NPF women wing Phek: NPF Phek division, women wing has strongly condemned the bomb explosion on Saturday morning near the residence of Deo Nukhu, parliamentary secretary for Higher Education and SCERT, in Kohima. Stating that every right thinking citizen should condemn the dastardly act of violence, the wing appealed the concerned authority to book the culprits at the earliest.
